I know obese and you aren't it. I do understand that RWP orange is a hard color to pull off at even plus 5 pounds!!!!! I've still got 10 to go so I'm right there with ya. Refined sugar is EVIL!

Anyhoo, I noticed from the picture that your feet aren't touching the ground, further supporting my theory that you have supernatural powers.

Rock on Coach!

Great race report and great time. It was my first 10k, and I finished just about 3 minutes behind ya. But, I did beat my goal, which I was encouraged about. I saw a few of those Race with Purpose shirts prior to the race and was curious as to what they are. Gotta go check out the website now.

Best of luck on the 15k, and future training. I was debating whether or not to hit that one, but now that I know that it is a favorite course, I am definitely more inclined to check it out. Maybe more as a training run as opposed to a race.

Nice job pushing it on sunday. And for busting my hump. I was moving my damn arms! You just couldn't see! I promise when you see me running at the 15k in Ridgefield that they'll be swinging at the end like they should have! It was the food from dinner the night before that slowed me down!

Go get 'em Coach!

Nah Petey,
I just can't get my obese body over the top of my shoes when I'm running that fast right now. Plus my calfs were killing me since I've been base training and laying off of the speed work. In short, my form just sucked! It'll get better.

Looking good champ. Are you reverting to a heel to toe strike? ;-)

I got a Garmin 305 for Christmas from Michelle!!!!!!! So right now I am working on getting lean(actually doing light weight, high reps) and changing my diet, and resting my knees. I plan on running again next week and doing the Manhattan half at a slow pace to log a few miles.
