Excellent thoughts.

The core of Tri-Atlanta, Kevin, Doug, Jane, Burke, Jim, Keith did exceptional things to keep this organization afloat. And I am not forgetting those who volunteered on a regular basis. Those were some fun years, I will never forget them.

Albeit, some members felt entitlement when joining a volunteer organization. My timeline with Tri-Atlanta, 1995 - 1998, it was the same group (ironically same zip code) who did 90% percent of the complaining and 1% of the volunteering. The "Whats In It For Me" theme was always obvious.

My reward for "making time" to put into an all volunteer organization? Exceptional lifelong friendships, an activity I love and seeing beginners succeed.

Ian, Keith, Adam and the new guard worked hard. You cannot have 6 or so folks doing everything. Ah, the reality of a volunteer group.

I hope TA gets back on the map.

True so very true. As you and I know we have aperfectexample in our backyard how well a community does without someone who is willing to sacrifice in order to make something like this happen. I myself once tried to spark something in a slowly dying club only to realize that the effort to succeed was going to be just to great. So yes Thanks to all who have made an effort on my behalf, and who have kept those "Institutions" I count on going.

Yes! Call it Instant Karma, or "The Miracle" of forgiveness, starting with forgiving ourselves. Truly living in the moment means there is never a better time than NOW to choose to make that affirmative decision. What has been done is done, lets move forward and make things better.

And thanks to you Adam :)
